The library Journal is on Graphic Novels. Somthing I just figured out is that the Library Journal has many feeds. The first feed that I have already talked about was called "Library Culture." It was talking about how to deal with being in Libraries and what it is like working there. This other feed deals with Graphic novels in a very general way. Seems to make itself as useful as posible to libarians who want to add Graphic Novels to there collection.
What this Feed is about is to give people infomation on Graphic novels. It talks about the differnt kinds of Graphic novesl and what are some of the best Graphic novels. It has a lot of useful infomation for people who want infomation on Graphic novels. The main reason that this feed is part of the Library Journal feed is that Graphic novels are becoming increasenly popular, especially with younger readers. Many libraries are trying to increase their collection to draw them into the library. Because many librarians are older and perhaps not that familar with Graphic novels this feed would be useful for them. It would show them the kind of Graphic novels that people would want and show the better Graphic novels. As mentioned before, it is a useful quide to Graphic Novels for a profesional librarian.
It should quickly be mention that tha layout of this feed is different from the other. When you click on the feed it has one area to click on which takes you to the Library Journal Website, starting with the artcles on Graphic Novels. Its a design choice.

Thoughts on the Library Journal-Library Culture
The Library Journal-Library Culture is a very interesting feed. In looking at the articles one sees that they are different from of other Blogs.
The Blog is completely about libraries and library issues, all of them. It has links to artcles that are about a number of differnt issues. One was mentioning how an award was given to a librarian who refused to give over infomation to the FBI on a patron for the library. It mentions how the librarian was given the reward and this person's view that the library is meant to help the partrons, she want the suit. Another article was on how a new librarian dealt with managing people. The Blog has infomation for librarians on their jobs. The different articles are written by many different people. A true librarians blog.

For an assinment in my library science class I am supposed to talk about a number of different issues in relation on new technologies on the internet. Blogs being what this is and Blogline feeds being somthing that I should talk about.
The Rss on Blog line feeds were very interesting. They were people talking about varius issues that they believe were connected with the main subject matter being discussed. It is a message board that has more professional postage. The messages here were longer and seemed to have a more professional quality to them. On Blog feed they seemed to be professional, though it seems unlickely that someone who is not somewhat professional in nature would write on issues dealing with libraries.
One of the topics that I found to be bery interesting was the one on the shifting enviroment of libraries. What it talked mostly about was how libraries are changing. The first article dealt with Twik's, a new form of communication. This was very much on topic, but another article on how people in libraries should be inspired and take risks was less on topic. It was about libraries, but not how they are changing. People should have alwasy taken risks. The good and bad thing about Blogs and Bloglin feed is taht people can talk about anything. This makes is good to show views that others would disagree with, while often allowing long talks on subject unrealted to what is being discussed. An interesting delima
